Amos describes events leading up to and on the “Day of the Lord,” and divine warnings for many modern nations. How will God punish these nations, through whom, and why? And what does God say to each of us in the book of Amos?

Choose the Better Side
God’s promise of eternal life requires us to check ourselves, repent, and walk the path of change to live according to God’s commands. While worldly insurance offers material security, God’s “life insurance” gives us an absolute guarantee of eternal life—but only if we fulfill His requirements. The Passover reminds us to check our spiritual condition, align our lives with God’s Will, and continually grow and follow Christ so that we may ultimately be ready for the Kingdom of God.

Frictions between the USA and Europe continue, and mutual trust disappears rapidly or is already gone. Europe is upset with Trump’s visa bans; and Denmark fumes over Trump’s envoy to Greenland. Trump’s peace plan for Ukraine is as illusionary as ever. At the same time, developments regarding the building of the third temple continue. We also address some “problematic” Christmas messages by several agencies and Trump administration officials.

In the business world when an employee voluntarily leaves an organization an exit interview is often scheduled in order to learn and improve the organization and the employee. As true Christians we know that we face our most significant interaction with our Creator at the time of our judgement. In this sermonette we will consider several scriptures that can help us become and remain more prepared for this.
