Waiting for God

Sometimes it may seem as though God does not hear our prayers or is unwilling to answer them. This is especially true in cases where people have been ill or facing other problems for a long time, yet—despite initial prayers—no healing or change has occurred. Some people slowly but surely resign themselves to their condition and circumstances; they come to believe that this is their fate and that God simply will not heal them or alter their situation in this day and age. This dangerous misconception can deprive us of God’s blessings.
