No Escape From Death
Norbert Link | January 3, 2015
We do not know when we will die, but we do know that we will die. Death is inescapable, and so we need to be prepared. How will we die? Will our day of death be better than our day of birth? Will we die the death of a righteous? Will we be blessed in death? Will death have lost its sting for us? Will the crown of life await us?
The Joy of Sin
Robb Harris | December 27, 2014
We are inundated with the concept that Christmas is the most joyful of all seasons. While many grasp to find some sort of joy, it is at most just a passing feeling. Real and lasting joy can only be understood and experienced while God is involved in our lives.
The Inner Man
Dave Harris | December 20, 2014
Christians are undergoing a profound change! It involves the renewing of how we think and behave, and it will lead to a transformation from mortal, fleshly existence into that of immortal, spirit life in the Family of God!
The Prophets Hang on Love, Part 1
Eric Rank | December 15, 2014
According to the words of Jesus, all the Law and the Prophets hang on the two great commandments of love towards God and love towards neighbor. In this sermon, we will show how the first four of the Ten Commandments are covered in the Prophets, emphasizing that God is our only God who prohibits the worship of idols and who enjoins us to hallow His name and His weekly and annual Sabbaths.
Quench the Fiery Darts
Eric Rank | December 6, 2014
Temptations and taunts are among the most effective tools that Satan uses to cause a Christian to fall away from the truth. Faith is a tool that we can use to guard against any threat that might cause us to turn from God and follow the ways of the world.
A New Creation
Dave Harris | December 6, 2014
Christians stand out as different! We are unlike anyone else in the world, and it is because we have the TRUTH of God. Yet, the significance of becoming a Christian also has astounding meaning in the ultimate plan of God—few understand that God has already begun His process of making “all things new.”
Past, Present, Future
Michael Link | November 29, 2014
The Bible shows us how the past, present and future all work together. Through past examples for our own admonition, we can learn from them in our present lives by obeying God, so we can be counted worthy to make it in the future.
Leaving the Church of God?
Norbert Link | November 22, 2014
There have always been those who left the Church of God because of numerous reasons. Not everyone who attends Church services is part of the Church of God. Still, membership in the true Church of God is necessary for salvation. This sermon shows what is the Church of God; who leads and directs it; and why one must not forsake the Church of God, if one wants to inherit eternal life.
You Are Here
Eric Rank | November 15, 2014
The progression of a Christian’s calling is transformative. We begin a journey and take steps forward along the way. Whether our path leads us closer to God or further astray, we need to honestly evaluate where we are in our journey, make adjustments, and continue pressing on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
Appreciating Our Salvation
Robb Harris | November 8, 2014
We have been given an opportunity very few on earth have ever received. Do we show our gratefulness to God daily? Are we willing to give up the desires of this world in order to fulfill the desires of God?
The Sword of the Spirit
Norbert Link | November 1, 2014
Paul admonishes us to take the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. This is a vital part of the armor of God. Paul does not refer to a physical sword, and when we take the spiritual sword, we must know what God’s Word is; how God’s Spirit motivates us; and why we must speak and do the Word of God. Only then will we be able to conquer Satan and his servants.
The Old Testament Commandments, Statutes, and Judgments
Norbert Link | October 25, 2014
Jesus said that all the Law and the Prophets hang on the two great commandments of loving God and neighbor. The first four of the Ten Commandments hang on the injunction to love God, and the last six of the Ten Commandments hang on the injunction to love our neighbor. In addition, certain Old Testament statutes and judgments hang on each of the Ten Commandments, in that they tell us specifically and in detail as to how we are to keep them.
The Family of God
Dave Harris | October 16, 2014
We have been given the promise of a glorious future as sons and daughters of God. A never-ending Kingdom will be established in new heavens and on a new earth. We must not neglect so great a salvation!
Joy in the God of My Salvation
Eric Rank | October 16, 2014
After spending time at the Feast of Tabernacles, fostering our spiritual growth, we need to be reminded of reasons to remain joyful when returning to our worldly dwellings and environment. Keeping our own personal spiritual purpose in focus provides us with a powerful perspective that can help us to rejoice as we work and wait for the Kingdom of God to come.
God’s Plan Revealed Through His Holy Days
Norbert Link | October 15, 2014
The weekly and annual Festivals and Holy Days describe God’s plan for mankind, but very few understand. We are going to review the prophetic significance of each Holy Day and Festival season and point out the many human errors which have replaced these days or modified their meaning. We must be very vigilant not to fall for any of these misconceptions, as there is still going to occur a falling away from the truth just prior to Christ’s return.
