What To Believe
Kalon Mitchell | May 3, 2015
With so many news sources, and ways to find out information how can we know what is real? How do we process and sort through vast quantities of information and come away with anything tangible. How do we tie this in with the Bible and what we believe that it says about the future?
How Long Has God Been Working with You?
Norbert Link | May 3, 2015
How does God work in your life, and when did He begin to do so? Was it when He called you and when you began to understand more and more of the truth? Or did God know you long before your calling, and did He influence some of your decisions prior to your calling, in order to fulfill His plan for you? And if so, what consequences might this have for you today?
Freedom From What?
Robb Harris | April 26, 2015
The world seeks freedom from oppression, yet the most oppressive tyrant of all keeps the world in spiritual slavery. Only through God’s Holy Spirit can we see the slavery Satan subjugates mankind with. And only by God opening our eyes can we see what true freedom is.
Today
Eric Rank | April 26, 2015
Those who are called out of the world to understand God’s truth today have a distinct and awesome privilege. They are blessed with the raw materials necessary to understand God’s Truth, truly become obedient, and overcome sin by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. This opportunity is unique because it is available in the present moment. Christians do not need to wait to take an active role in fulfilling the plan of God.
Perseverance
Michael Link | April 20, 2015
Despite difficulty in the trials we go through in our lives, are we strong enough to remain faithful to God’s way of life?
Sinning Against the Holy Spirit
Norbert Link | April 20, 2015
The sin against the Holy Spirit is the unpardonable sin, which will not be forgiven. Why is this so? And how can we determine whether we are in danger of committing the unpardonable sin? The Bible gives us important hints.
Are You a Profitable Servant?
Brian Gale (United Kingdom) | April 13, 2015
Much will be required of us because much has been given. To be a profitable servant we need God’s Holy Spirit living and working in us and with this power we have all the help we need to be a really profitable servant as we are instructed to be.
Tune In
Kalon Mitchell | April 13, 2015
When a orchestra plays, they must first tune up. In order to fully get the most from the Spring Holy Days, we too must tune into God, and continue to build our relationship with Him.
How Far Out of Egypt Have We Come?
Brian Gale (United Kingdom) | April 13, 2015
The way that we measure how far out of Egypt we have come is the measure of our conversion which is NOT measured in miles but by the examination of our attitudes and the way that we behave and reflect our calling.
Trust Me
Kalon Mitchell | April 13, 2015
When someone asks us to trust them, what makes it so that we do trust that person? Is it a feeling, an action? Do we trust God? Can we trust Him with everything? Does our trust in God have anything to do with righteousness and offerings?
Man’s Will, God’s Will
Eric Rank | April 13, 2015
The will of man is the power within each of us giving us the ability to choose our own actions. Sometimes our will is strong, and we are able to carry through with our intentions. Sometimes our will is weak, and we fail to accomplish our goals. Whether strong or weak, our will must always be in subjection to God’s perfect will, which leads us to eternal life in His family.
We Aren’t Done!
Dave Harris | April 13, 2015
While this Feast of Unleavened Bread is set aside for us to live without sin in our lives—which leaven portrays, the lesson must now continue!
The Fall of Satan
Rene Messier (Canada) | April 9, 2015
The main cause of Satan’s fall was pride and we should ensure we don’t fall into that trap. The seven things God hates are a reflection of the mind of Satan and something for us to avoid.
Time to Heed!
Dave Harris | April 6, 2015
It seems we end up repeating sin in our lives, and there is real danger if we do not heed the lessons recorded for us in the Word of God. We are warned to avoid sin, and the example of leaven as a type of sin is the lesson of this Feast of Unleavened Bread.
My Candidate is Not Standing
Brian Gale (United Kingdom) | March 28, 2015
A recent 52-page letter (an unprecedented intervention by the House of Bishops in the Church of England) – said “it is the duty of every Christian adult to vote, even though it may have to be a vote for something less than a vision that inspires us”. In John 17:12-16, Christ clearly said that His disciples, His followers, are not of this world. They are not to behave and act as the world, that is the society around us, does. We have to live in the world – but we are not to be part of it. Who do we take notice of – fallible human beings or the words of Jesus Christ?
How Much Is Enough?
Kalon Mitchell | March 28, 2015
How can we know if we are putting enough in each day in regards to our relationship with God? In prayer, in Bible study, in meditation. How can we know if we are really preparing, increasing and doing God’s will for us?
The Love for the Truth
Rene Messier (Canada) | March 22, 2015
The Disease of Affluenza
Brian Gale (United Kingdom) | March 22, 2015
Affluenza has been described as “a painful, contagious, socially transmitted condition of overload, debt, anxiety and waste resulting from the dogged pursuit of more”. Possession overload is not what a Christian needs and may distract him/her from the way that we have been called to.
