Results require effort. If we want to grow in our Christian calling, we must acknowledge that there are no shortcuts. The life experiences are our opportunities to put ourselves to work so we can learn and develop spiritual fruit.

God created us with several senses, one being our sense of smell. What can we do to produce a scent that is pleasant to God which He considers a sweet smelling aroma?

A controversial title! God cannot sin, so why this question? And yet…what about our reactions when things don’t go the way we would like? Do we then perhaps question God’s justice, knowledge and power, as some righteous people in the Bible have done? And if we react like this, what will help us to get out of this dilemma?

Germans lose all confidence in their leadership—arguably the weakest and most incompetent German government since World War II—and the German mass media, such as the mass tabloid Bild, attacks vehemently Germany’s immigration policy. America’s cluelessness, self-deception and past mistakes, and the pope’s “Jewish problem” are blamed for Israel’s dilemma and for Hamas’ joy. How tired are Russians really of the Ukraine war? And are UFOs proof for aliens, angels or demons? What have all these events to do with the rise of the beast and the false prophet?

This message will look at biblical examples of the choices people made, and at the outcome of those choices. Some were good choices with a good outcome, while others were not so good.

We hear of “wars and rumors of war,” but we are not hearing of true peace! Is peace actually possible, now?

We cannot hide from God. He knows about everything we do. He even knows our most secret thoughts. Do we consider this to be an intrusion on our privacy or do we treat it with honor, knowing that He has an intimate relationship with us?

This sermon looks at the nonsense of evolution, atheism, proof that God must exist, the Bible being true, an instruction manual for mankind and the question of choice.  We also see that blessings and cursings accrue from our behaviour towards God and fellow man.

God is not impressed by how many physical sacrifices we make. But He is very pleased when we live a life of justice, mercy and humility. He is concerned with our attitude and how we interact with others in a right manner.

Throughout the Bible we find the encouraging admonition to be strong. From whom can we find strength? And once found, what are we accountable to do with the strength we put to work in our lives?

The world we are in is filled with wickedness, and “As it is written: “There is none righteous, no, not one.” Are there any exceptions—and where does that leave each one of us?

How are we to use our ears properly when it comes to what Christ refers to when He says that we need to make sure we use our ears to hear?

What is the close connection between compassion, mercy and forgiveness? How does a righteous person manifest these characteristics in his life? On the other hand, in what way does an unrighteous person show that he does not have mercy, compassion and the will to forgive? Why must we, as God’s people, be truly merciful, moved with compassion, and ready to forgive?

Satan is the god and ruler of this world. He is worshipped by man, even though many don’t realize it. He is ruling man, even though most don’t realize that either. In this sermon, we will show the terrible deception and destruction Satan and his demons have been, are and will be causing, and how God’s people can avoid their evil influence.

Most people are born with their eyesight. It is one of the most fantastic things that we have as humans. Our spiritual eyesight is just as important and is easy to lose if we are not careful. How can we make sure we continue to have good vision? 

Are we building our families by biblical standards, or have we allowed society to pollute and even threaten to destroy our family structure?

God’s true followers are a rarity in the world at this time. What does it mean to be set apart from the world as an outsider?

Taking stock means to carefully think about something in order to make a decision about what to do next. Regarding the prophetic future, are we prepared?

One of the implements of the armor of God is the shield of faith, with which we can “quench the fiery darts of the wicked one.” What can we learn about this valuable tool to help strengthen our defense against Satan?

Taking care of an entrusted asset can become a responsible task. Likewise, if we are not aware of our responsibility, it can lead to great harm if we misuse or mismanage the goods entrusted to us. God gave immense access to His spiritual wealth through His Spirit. Let us ask ourselves how we can become reasonable trustees of these riches.
