Killing of Fishermen—Must Illegal Orders Be Obeyed?

Six Democratic lawmakers urged service members to defy illegal orders. President Trump called them traitors and described their conduct as seditious behavior at the highest level, advocating their arrest and death. Whether or not they had the killing of fishermen on the high seas in mind, who allegedly tried to smuggle dangerous and deadly drugs into the United States, are these killings legal?
