The Bible has many examples of those who went above and beyond in faith and courage, when all seemed hopeless, but that didn’t stop Daniel and his 3 companions, Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego, to stand up for what was right and put their complete trust in God, who saved them from death.
Prayer
Who To Trust?
We have to be careful where we put our trust. The Bible gives us many examples where we should not put our complete trust and confidence. In contrast, we should always put our complete trust in our creator – God the Father, no matter what situation we find ourselves in.
Persistence
How persistent are we in our physical and spiritual lives? Do we have the faith and the zeal to run the race so we can obtain the ultimate prize? We must be strong, we must never give up and we must strive to finish the race.
Our Unrighteous School- and Education- Systems
What is the origin of our modern education- and school- systems? Do they help us to understand the Truth? What does the Bible tell us about human wisdom, ethics and philosophy? What are some of the many wrong concepts which our children are being taught in school? What can parents do to counteract the oftentimes devastating influence which our children experience in school?
Why Do Righteous People Suffer?
The main purpose of this sermon is not to explain that suffering can be the consequence of sin. Rather, it will be shown that and why righteous people must suffer… independently from sinful conduct.
