Sinning Against the Holy Spirit

The sin against the Holy Spirit is the unpardonable sin, which will not be forgiven. Why is this so? And how can we determine whether we are in danger of committing the unpardonable sin? The Bible gives us important hints.

US Foreign Policy Worse Than Ever Before!

The discussions about the “deal” between the USA and Iran are ongoing. America is accused of being weak and pursuing a policy of appeasement that emboldens Iran, while antagonizing Israel. The “deal” does not address Iran’s terrorist activities nor its desire to eradicate Israel, and President Obama and his administration are charged with creating an unbelievable Middle East powder keg, setting the stage for an unprecedented conflict. America’s downfall is inevitable, and the vacuum will be filled by other nations, according to biblical prophecy.

Defenseless Against Nuclear Attacks?

More and more commentators warn against an all-encompassing nuclear war, and Russia has claimed that it could turn America into radioactive ash. Vladimir Putin admitted that he was willing to use nuclear weapons against the West when he annexed Crimea. Forbes magazine points out that America is hopelessly defenseless against incoming long-range ballistic missiles and that all it can do is “lay waste.” Sadly, that is exactly what the Bible prophesies, and God thunders at all of us to wake up.

Should Christians Keep Easter?
 Easter Customs and the Bible

Was Jesus crucified on a Friday and resurrected on Sunday morning? If so, how did He fulfill the sign of His Messiahship that He was to be three days and three nights in the grave? If not, how did Christianity come to believe in a Friday crucifixion and Sunday morning resurrection? And where do our Easter customs come from? Why do we color eggs and believe in an egg-laying rabbit? Did early Christians keep Easter? What does the Bible say about all of this?

The Mystery of the Holy Spirit

Who gives us the Holy Spirit? In what way is the Holy Spirit “one”? Who resides in true Christians? Is the Holy Spirit a person? The Bible uses many times figurative language when referring to the Holy Spirit. Still, why are descriptions used which seem to imply person-hood and conscious activities of the Holy Spirit? Are we unduly restricting and misunderstanding some of those passages?

The Shield of Faith

Ephesians 6:16 commands us to take the shield of faith, as an important part of the armor of God, which will enable us to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. How does the Bible describe this shield, and what is meant with the fiery darts of the wicked one? Further, what kind of faith is necessary? Is true faith just a defensive “weapon,” or is more required?

Dealing With Invisible Voices!

According to the Independent, a British paper, “up to one in 25 people hears voices regularly,” and “up to 40 per cent of the population will hear voices at some point in their lives.” While traditional psychiatry tries to silence those voices through strong medication, resulting in dangerous side-effects, others advocate a dialogue with those voices to calm them down. What about these two different approaches? History includes many examples of people who claim that they heard voices and had visions, but can it really be true? If there are such voices, what is their origin? And what should people do who hear them? We are offering you our free booklet, “Angels, Demons and the Spirit World.”

No Escape From Death

We do not know when we will die, but we do know that we will die. Death is inescapable, and so we need to be prepared. How will we die? Will our day of death be better than our day of birth? Will we die the death of a righteous? Will we be blessed in death? Will death have lost its sting for us? Will the crown of life await us?

Pope Francis’ Fight with the Vatican

It has been almost a recent routine by the Vatican to ignore, dispute or “clarify” something that Pope Francis has (allegedly) said. This includes statements about communism, homosexuality, divorce and remarriage, and whether animals go to heaven when they die. Pope Francis is also involving himself more and more in political affairs, such as the relationship between the USA and Cuba. His popularity is enormous, especially in Europe, due to his charming appearance. His most recent strong attack against the Curia has been described as “without historic precedent” and “one last warning before a direct confrontation.” A spokesman for the Vatican has also referred to him as a “prophet.” What can we expect to occur in the future? We offer two free booklets, “Do We Have an Immortal Soul?” and “Man’s Holidays or God’s Holy Days?”

The Christmas Myth-Exposed?

Both former Pope Benedict XVI and former Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams, have questioned the accuracy of the Christmas “myth”-in particular the alleged time of Christ’s birth and the way in which the Nativity scene is commonly depicted. They claim that there were no animals present and that the wise men were not identified as three. There are of course many more Christmas assumptions and ideas which do not find support in the Bible. In this program, we show you what the Bible really says about Christmas and its customs, and we offer you a free reprint article about the wise men or “magi,” and our free booklet, “Don’t Keep Christmas.”
