COVID 19—a Man-Made Pandemic?

The Bible prophesies for the end time serious worldwide disease epidemics and pandemics, which are caused far too often by human misconduct, resulting in incredible pain for innocent victims. Governments may contribute to the suffering when attempting to combat the pandemics. What can be said, then, in regard to the origin of COVID-19? And does the Bible include many warnings which, if headed, would prevent the spread of many disease epidemics?

America’s Disastrous Downfall under Biden—Comments on News and Prophecy, December 11, 2021

For over 20 years, we have told our audience what the future will bring, based on biblical prophecy. We have warned about ongoing worldwide dictatorships with autocratic governmental restrictions and mandates. In this report, we address the inevitable downfall of the USA under the failing Biden Administration, including inflation, unemployment, staggering costs of trillions of dollars for Biden’s proposed projects; and, following the Afghanistan debacle,  threats from China and Russia, which do not take the US President seriously. We address concerns about Joe Biden’s mental health and his repetition of his fabricated and at times slanderous stories;  and his unconstitutional vaccination mandates which are supported by Anthony Fauci, but which are smacked down by federal courts.

Opening Night: Thankfulness—a rare Characteristic

There are noticeable health benefits for thankful people. What does the Bible say about the necessity for a Christian to be thankful? When and for what are we to be thankful, for whom, and towards whom? And why is thankfulness so rare today and seldom to be observed?

The Body and Blood of Jesus Christ

During the Passover night, when He was betrayed, Jesus Christ introduced the new symbols of bread and wine. He said much about it, and much happened during the next day of Passover, which is very confusing to most people. Are we allowed to partake of the “communion” or the “Lord’s supper” at any time? Do the bread and the wine change on that occasion to the body and blood of Christ? Did Jesus say during the Passover night that He would eat no bread and drink no wine until His return to this earth? Exactly how did Jesus die on the cross? And in what way was His body broken, and what does this mean for us today?

How do we understand Christ’s statements in response to Peter’s initial refusal to accept Christ’s washing of his feet? And is there a relationship between the correct baptism, which only occurs once in a lifetime of a converted person, and the footwashing ceremony which is being observed annually?

This Generation Will Not Pass Away

Jesus Christ listed many terrible events which will occur prior to His return, and added that “this generation” would not pass away until all these things take place. What is meant with “this generation”? Did Christ refer to mankind in general; the survival of the people of Israel; the generation at the time of Christ; or the end-time generation? This sermon will cite many biblical passages, which are being used in support of the above-stated concepts in light of the Greek word for “generation.” But which explanation is correct?

The Passover and Christ’s Sacrifice

Properly baptized members of God’s Church who have received the Holy Spirit are commanded to partake of the New Testament Passover, but they must do so in a worthy manner. They must be able to appreciate the significance of Christ’s Sacrifice for their personal lives. They must understand what Christ did and does for them, and they must respond accordingly. But far too often, they do not. This sermon will show some pitfalls and dangers in thought and action.
