Our opportunity to increase our spiritual profitability lies dormant beneath our fallow ground. In the aspects of our lives where we can and should be changing, it can be difficult to get to work. If we can draw our focus on the making improvements outside of our comfort zone, we can produce abundant fruit that we otherwise would not be able to do.

A Mind to Work
Even when facing opposition, we can be confident that God’s work is worth doing. In the story of Nehemiah, the Jews rebuilt the wall of Jerusalem facing ridicule and adversity. Through their perseverance, dedication, and unwavering focus, they succeeded. What can we learn from their example that can help us succeed in our endeavors?
God Is Angry
If there are so many people in the world who are doing good things to help their communities demonstrating love for one another, could God really be angry enough to unleash His wrath upon the Earth as a punishment? What is it that makes God angry, and what can we do to appeal to His mercy as the Day of the Lord approaches?
Keep it Simple
The complexity of life and sabotage from Satan threaten to distract us from the focus we need to maintain our relationship with God. But His instructions for us are simple. We are to follow His commandments, turn from sin, and have faith in the salvation of Christ if we want to inherit the Kingdom of God. We can rely on the simplicity of Christ to guide us through our lives so that we succeed in the end.
All Nations
In this present age the nations of the world are not at peace. Conflicts, wars, and espionage exist between many nations instead. But after the return of Jesus Christ and the establishment of the Kingdom of God, peace will prevail among nations, who will come together to worship the true God.
The Saints
Becoming a saint does not require going through an arduous process contrived by the minds of men. On the contrary, saints are those who have a close relationship with God and prove it by honoring Him through obedience. God will reward His saints in the age to come by giving them positions of leadership in the kingdom.
All In
Answering the call to become a Christian involves unwavering commitment. Going “all in” is an expression that indicates the complete dedication which is necessary to fully invest ourselves in following God. When we prepare our offerings, they should reflect the same level of commitment we are willing to make to obey God.
Yesterday, Today, and Forever
Even though the Bible clearly proves that Jesus Christ is the God of the Old Testament, most nominal Christians today have no idea. However, this fact has great personal meaning to us, in that the same One who performed the miracles recorded in the Bible lives within us today through His Holy Spirit.
Are You Really Free?
Freedom is a virtue valued by people and many governments around the world. Yet finding the true freedom ordained by God evades most people today. How can we find true freedom in our lives?
And Then Everything Changed
NOTE: THE DATE IN THE SERMON SHOULD BE APRIL 27, 2024: The process of Christian conversion changes the way that we understand life. Conversion places life in the context of God’s purpose, causing us to see our own lives through His perspective. When taken to heart, this process changes everything, guiding us to confidently improve our way of life.
